The 52nd Annual 2024 Stumpjumpers Motorcycle Club Odessa Desert 100 endurance dirt bike race, April 7, 2024. This was one of the hardest things I have ever done in my life. Harder than running a half marathon with no prior training. Harder than riding my bicycle 200 miles over 2 days. Harder than any backcountry ski, mountain bike, or hike I’ve ever done. 100 miles over incredibly rough, rocky ...

This was my first ever dirt bike race, and I can say that I was truly unprepared for it...mostly physically. I had zero expectations going into it, and my only goals were first to not injure myself, and to finish. I always love to ride fast, but I never expect to be competitive...and I wasn't...but I truly did not expect to be completely physically spent after just 20 minutes into the 1.5 hour ...

2023 Stumpjumpers Motorcycle Club Desert 100 Ironman Poker Run in Odessa, WA. April 1, 2023. This year, I borrowed a buddy's 2001 KTM 300 EXC to give it a thorough shakedown to see how I like big bore 2 strokes. Lap 1 consisted of me getting used to the bike, and lap 2 was me being as familiar as I could possibly be with a platform that I have officially decided I don't like. I think I'm a thum...

North Cascades Mountain Guides WA Pass Backcountry Skiing

The DOT shuts down Highway 20 in the winter due to massive amounts of snowfall and high avalanche danger, so to access the North Cascades ski playground, you need a snowmobile to drive on the highway. But I don't own a snowmobile. Luckily, there is a guide service operating out of nearby Mazama, WA that not only takes you out to the best powder caches in the area, but also provides snowmobiles ...

A few core takeaways here: 1. I'm burned out. So badly. 2. I won't continue manufacturing assembled units. I may delve into flat-pack at a later time. 3. DIY build plans, and instructional video series are coming in the future 4. The company is for sale. Think you can build? Let me know! Everything else is up in the air.

Tacoma DIY Overland Kitchen And Mattress Platform Storage Drawer System - K.A.M.P. Drawers
Hi Sam I know you don't make these drawers anymore but But I'd really like to try and Make something like that So I'm gonna try and make something similar And I hope you don't mind but I have one question what size slide rails did you use ?
Hey my man love the video. Have you posted plans for this or want to sell plans for this? I actually rig a VW Touareg. I have removed my rear seats. I know your Tacoma plans would not work for my rig but I could scale down your plans. Thanks man.
best lighting setup ever.
Hello Do you ship to Australia?
I have a 2015 and it always feels much more appropriate to think of it as an overlanding vehicle instead of something to do baja stuff on. Moderate speeds, careful line choices and a healthy respect for the mass that's getting tossed around. If you take all of that into consideration, it's pretty impressive what these things can do.
Nice video and nice camp drawer.
My friend took his jeep out there
how did you waterproof the exterior? I am looking to build something like this but want to have my fridge in it!
Like the drone shots !
Love this but something that bothers me about many of these systems is having the stove on the end farthest from the truck. It's out there waving in the wind and weighing down the drawer which will eventually fail. This the first one that has considered where to put shoes, boots and 'dirty' things.
have you messed around with Teflon sliders before?
Love seeing the ST out in the dirt. Does the owner have a channel with vids? I'd love to see more of that bike.
How heavy did this turn out?
shiny bubble wrap good idea, was going to use Velcro tape and some tint but this is much better
How can i get work i will want One for my truck
How can i get One i would like buy One for my truck
why bearings and not rails?
Rails 6ft long are not available commercially. At least not when I built this. HD rails are very costly.
@@SamChou I can get 5ft long for $150 HD but 6th is almost double that price. Bearings at my place with to sides would cost half plus rails etc. I think I'm not far away from $150 and runners would look neaty - thanks for info. I might not need 6ft. therefore but get your point. I have wheels arches on both sides so it would be tricky to have bearings and no need for extension that far as can access it from the back too (it would be for the van rather than pickup) but similar idea. own design but like your work too.
Where are you riding?
I think I’m going to buy your cad! This is a dream set up!
For someone that 🍳 cooks DAILY 😂, I find it FUNCTIONAL 😊 , in fact OVER BUILT , but in GENERAL PRACTICAL...THANKS 😊
I was down in the area several days after you folks! It's a special area. Nice drone footage! As always well put together.
Very nice setup. Good use of space and designed well.
Sweet design. That blew me away how far you extend it. It gives me some new ideas of what I might do in the future.
Nice work and good design. What happened to the stove setup? I will have to check out your other vids.
Dude in the red backpack should learn to ride before he steps foot on that beautiful Beta again
I am amused yet perturbed by all the "designers" building drawers, all of them stuck in the 'box' instead of thinking outside of it. Take this one for example: Who wants to cook on a stovetop that is at your adams apple? No one online showcasing "the best" drawer system seems to take workflow or ergonomics into account, yet... they are 'designers' and accepting 'pre-orders' on designs they are charging $2k-$4k for materials costing under $300.
nice, thank you!
Whoever was on the rental bike SUCKS
How did you get the aerial footage? Great video!
DJI Mini 2 Drone. Thanks!
Epic, love the XR400 tractor at the end (I used to ride one) 🤣
Best one yet, looks like a blast!
Full incognito mode like mr BEAN. 😅
I’m impressed !!! I have a wrangler in which I removed the back seat and top to rear cargo storage. I built a deck with 6 compartments to cover the entire back so I have 4 deep wells and 2 About 20”. I have hinged hatches like the deck of a bass boat. I have the entire back for air mattress that I can stretch out with 6’3 length! But ! I still need a sink, fridge, trash and cook top! I will keep this unit in mind if I don’t switch to a camper van. Those guys are backed up!!! I can’t fathom what you could do with that!
Fantastic build!! Maximized your drawers!!! Looks sharpe! Best Kitchen Set up Ever👍
Where can I buy this kitchen??
These are great!
yeah we need these in australia haha
That’s so cool !
450 go braaahhhp
Great video. Why can't you drill into the fiberglass?
You definitely can, but the hole will go through the other side, unless you're drilling through the honeycomb on the ceiling.
@@SamChou oh yea for sure. I'm good with that. I'd just bolt it up and seal it up well. Just making sure there isn't something else about a fiberglass topper that makes drilling a bad idea, something like micro splintering that causes leaks and is unrepairable
Man it's a good thing you didn't pay a bunch of money for new graphics before this race.
19:40 Damn, you went full Limit Break on that one. "Where do I end and where does the bike begin?"
Ya, I'm pretty sure we had only had 1 giant zip tie, 2 large zip ties, and the rest were 2 or 3 small zip ties chained together to fit around the tire
good video! better get ya some moose next year! you will definitely improve!
I very much understand. My thoughts: If you want out from underneath doing it at all, I’d say try to sell. It’s a great name, good branding, and a short but sweet history to the company. This happens all the time, you wouldn’t be the first. The other side of the coin depends on one thing: if you enjoy the custom side of things. If you do, then you could limit yourself to a certain number of custom builds a year & stick to it. After 5, 10, 15 years, you’d be a legitimately established entity in the market. Lots of possibilities there, but only if you limit yourself and if you actually enjoy the custom process. I found you because I’m looking for something for my 4Runner, but I’m a photographer not a craftsman. 😝 Anyways, I hope you’ve been doing well & getting outside!
Nice job man!!!
So fine, great craftsman
Did you turn off abs and tc?
Yes all the electrical intervention was turned off.
Abs?! Could it be turned off?!!
@@7arkhwfyes. Center stand and run on second gear. The light will flash and you’re good. But once you shut it down it resets.
Sam you gave me all the compliments on this video, but I think you ride my bike better than me!
I'm the same height, maybe 5'5 in boots, thanks for sharing, helped me make the right decision.
